ABOUT THE OWNER

Hello and welcome!

I’m Jaime, the owner of Lav and Lox studio. While I now call Michigan home, I attended Aveda Institute in Provo, Utah and quickly fell in love with all things beauty. Classes, appointments, and endless wonderful clients later, I am thrilled to offer a studio that celebrates feeling your best, launching new careers, and the importance of self-care.

I’m a licensed Cosmetologist and have been doing hair for over 5 years. I started as a Salon Assistant and upon moving back to West Michigan, found my home at Capelli Salon.

Lashes are my love. It’s important to me to offer a variety of styles for my variety of clients. I have taken many classes over the years to continue developing my own technique and learning about the latest in the fast moving world of lashes.

Through this, continued education has become a passion for myself and the industry at large. I enjoy investing in and helping others launch their own careers. With this vision in mind, I offer small group and one-on-one training to help emerging artists establish their own style and have the necessary tools to grow their brand.

When I’m not lashing or teaching, you can find me hanging out with my husband, our pups, working on projects around the house, cooking, catching up on Netflix, or getting ready for a travel adventure!
